Successful Spring Tour There are experiences that are remembered for a lifetime, and for each member of 'The Beginning" one such memory will be that of their April tour. The feeling of God's spirit working through music to receptive hearts was an exhilarating experience for both performer and audience. Each night of the tour the plan of salvation was presented and the concert was ended with the invitation song, "He Died on the Cross." Countless rededications were made and two young people came forward accepting Christ. We of 'The Beginning" feel that God has really been the guiding force in this venture, and that His service has been and is our reason for existence. The greatest day of the tour was Friday when we sang for the "Life Now" conference at the downtown mall and Convention Center in Fresno. While singing in the mall we were taped by a local TV station and later that night got to watch our performance on television. But nothing could compare to the reception we got at the Convention Center. We played to almost two thousand people who gave us an ovation that topped all that had gone on before. It was a beautiful ending to a tour that reached almost three thousand people, and we never once failed to mention CBC as being our home. We of "The Beginning" thank you, the students and the faculty, for your prayers and support. God's guiding hand is sensitive to the concerns of His children, _and we will never forget the blessings received and experienced during our tour.
